50 years ago, 19-year-old Chuck Hearne (bass) and his 17-year-old friends Dave Bauder (drums) and Jon Mulzet (guitar), a trio known collectively as Ratzo, walked into Helffrich Recording Labs in Allentown, PA to record a slice of their live show. Five tracks were recorded for an acetate disc, intended to showcase their talents to radio stations and record labels. While that record is lost to time, the original 24-track tape has been recovered and remixed (by the great Eddie Ashworth) and is presented here to a worldwide audience for the first time.
